Smoke Tree and Foxgloves by Charlie Wardale

Rembrandt pastels on Canson Mi-Teintes Touch, 12 x 10". This is another outside painting from the garden, veering toward an Impressionist style. At the end of the day, if the light is right, the Smoke tree glows vividly. I didn't quite manage to capture that full glow but had great fun doing it. Getting to love outdoor painting.
