I keep coming back to look at this painting. The direct look of the sitter is very disarming and is enhanced by the use of colour.

Working with charcoal in tonight's Artsocial zoom class - not my most favourite medium BUT - I worked on pastelmat paper and found I really enjoyed the process! An absorbing hour.
