On the Artsocial zoom class this week we were looking at artists who were known for abstraction - Kandinski, Malevich, Hilma af Klint, William Scott to name a few. I couldn't quite do total abstraction, mine is more figurative but it was an interesting lesson! I worked in soft pastels, first drawing it out in charcoal.
