While waiting for some handmade paper with Gesso on the reverse side, to dry, I got my Unison pastels out and using Hahnemuhle Velour pastel paper, and created this little landscape. I have never used this velour paper before, and it was a completely different experience! The pastel doesn't sit on the surface so it's hard to blend. Didn't think it was going to work out at first, but I persevered and am actually quite pleased with the result!
