The brickwork is superbly painted they have a real textured look .

Two days joyfully spent using acrylic paints - and pastel pencils for some effects - and finding that introducing a palette knife to my tools to apply the paint, has opened up a whole new world for me!!! I took the picture from a perspective photograph I took at the beginning of summer when my flowering pots were at their best. I decided to not add perspective and make it flat (Matisse influence here). I quite like the different textures.
