Drinking rhubarb and ginger gin, while gazing at orchids. Favourite lockdown pastime.

Carole that sounds like a good trend you are setting. I've got some strawberry gin which was a present. Haven't tried it yet because I just like the ordinary g&t but I think I'll have to try it . How did you do your painting? It's very eye catching.

Sorry Carole, just scrolled down....the answer is there!

Thank you Marjorie. Have yet to try the strawberry - have a preference for Bombay but the R & G is lovely with loads of ice.

Striking picture Carole. The light and shadows make the colours stand out.

Fantastic colours Carole, so eye catching, my daughter in law has made rhubarb gin before which is lovely, 👍🍷🍷🍷

Thank you Christine and Linda for your lovely comments, very much appreciated. Can imagine the home made brew to be pretty potent Linda, watch how you go. With all the baking and drinking I’m indulging in, I won’t get out of the door and if I manage to squeeze out, I’ll probably fall down the steps.🍷🍷🍷

This is a bold and positive image Carole, really excellent work.

I'll join you in this one!

Mmm that's sounds idyllic Carole. The painting's an absolute cracker too!

Thank you Alan, Heather and Susan for your generous comments. Cheers to you all, hiccuppppp

Very striking Carole.Nearly G & T time here !

Beautifully vivid Carole. With a sense of the light hitting the objects.

Masterly control of tones and contrasts. Beautifully painted.

Wow. That is truly fabulous. Clever lady. And just for the record, rhubarb & ginger gin is my favourite too x

You have such great paintings - and titles for them - Carole! Well done, loving the pinks here :-)
