Crikey, Carole! That's a zinger of a painting. The sea is spectacular and those cottages are fascinating, especially as one of them is showing a light or two, indicating habitation. Imagine having the sea raging at your front door, or back door for that matter. The sky, of course, sets the whole thing alight. I'd set my alarm to see this show. Gorgeous! Bri

Thank you Maureen, June, Linda, and Heather for your support and encouragement. Always appreciated. Thank you Brian for such wonderful comments. Sorry I only saw the one figure in your painting until you mentioned there were two. I’m not joking when I say that I’m going to Spec Saver’s today as my eyes are on the blink. Loved that crunchy looking snow Brian.

16” x 12” soft pastels and pastel pencils. This is a view from the bottom of my street is constantly changing, according to the weather. I am always fascinated by the differences in moods this scene renders; stormy, tranquil, gloomy, sunny, the list goes on. This is an early morning sunrise caught on one of the rare mornings I’m up on time to see such phenomena.
