love the saturation of colour! I'm sure I have been here too!

Lovely Carole - looks an interesting place and it's also interesting to see a watercolour which is reminiscent of your pastel work - you have a very distinctive style.

Lovely picture Carole.

Thank you so much for your lovely comments Carol, Sarah and Stephen.

Lovely Carole. Good to get out an “oldie” now and again and appreciate it.

Lovely warm colours - Hope sort out your art materials Carole.

A good golden oldie!

I dug a few of my golden (-ish) oldies out just yesterday ... some bear up well, some.... some don't. Always interesting to do though, and indeed, why not post them? I do like the warmth in this painting, and the complicated shadows dictated by the position of the sun.

It's a great painting Carole and lovely strong colours.

The painting has a warm pleasing atmosphere Carole.

It is so lovely to hear from you Christine, Paul, Shaun, Heather, Robert, Denise and John with your encouraging, insightful, comments. Very much appreciated.

Lovely Carole, although done 20 yrs ago, your signature style and colours are very much recognisable.

You’ve been hiding this away Carole……it’s a beautiful mellow painting and a great subject. Do you have more hidden away like this?

Thank you for such a heart warming comment Fiona. I was very touched by your lovely words 🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞

Lovely autumn colours Carole.

This is an old painting I did nearly twenty years’ ago. Can’t access my art materials as a big sort out going on at the moment. Apologies for a lack of current material to show. Watercolour on w/c paper 10” x 12”.
