This was done as a wedding present from some friends to their son & his bride. A difficult assignment - I had never seen their dog, had only some low-resolution, poorly-lit mobile phone photos to work from and only a week in which to come up with the goods (I'm generally a slow worker) - oh, and I'd never painted a dog before. However, there's nothing like an artistic challenge to get me fired up. I'm told there were tears in their eyes as the happy couple opened their present; I'm led to believe it was delight & not distress..........
