Had Fun painting this one! It's a large watercolour A3 approx. After a simple sketch I masked the tusks and white splashes. Poured washes onto the flat paper and blew it around with a straw, warm colours to the top and cools to the bottom. Let it dry and then built up the dark tones to reveal the elephant. I wanted this painting to pack a punch!
