Oil paint on canvas. A master study, original by Gregory Manchess. I wanted to try Cobra watersoluble oils and also Gregs illustration technique of laying in paint with a palette knife and then manipulating the wet paint with the palette knife and a brush. Prevents too much fiddling and detail. I enjoyed trying a new technique and it is the first time I have attempted a whole painting with the palette knife.
