I love how you have created a textured effect in this beautiful watercolour painting Bridget!

I was having a row with someone the other day - amazing how people can argue hotly about painting - who was contending that watercolour should always be "pure"; she would quiver in her boots at the idea of using acrylic ink with it. But there we are: I'll show her this, and see if she changes her mind. Mine doesn't need changing: I like this very much.

The hedge rows are full of Cow Parsley and Pink Campion this time of year. Watercolour and acryllic ink on Saunders 100% rough cotton mould made acid free watercolour paper 300 lb. Size:- 45 x 65cm
