In the village of Wrington where I live in North Somerset there is the most fabulous Copper Beech tree that comes to life in the summer. It has gown in the most unual place in the middle of a housing estate that used to be an orchard and it is huge. I have used my artistic licence and not painted the houses. It moves around in the breeze as if it is alive and the changing colours are a delight to see. Painted on canvas board using acrylics, acrylic inks, moulding paste and copper leaf, size 55x65cm.
