Two excellent paintings but I agree with you Brian, the winter one is definitely my favourite. I really like the gentle light, and the reflections in the water.

We are going on a canal boat this time next year. I hoped to capture a scene to work on. This picture has certainly inspired me to do so. Who wouldn't want to wake up on such a morning, enjoying the moment with a mug of tea. The perfect scene to enable reflection in life as well as the painting.
