Loose or not I think these are great. It's funny but I can paint landscapes much freer than I can my flowers. A good way to loosen up is to NOT paint with brushes. You can use anything else and you have no choice then but to get inventive. I dare you to try it on this subject.

Love these - I love to paint iris as well. They are so distinctive. More difficult maybe in acrylic?

20" X 24" I find these flowers irresistible. I have painted them before, but still find new challenges. Next time I'll try to paint them more freely, but I have real problems in this area.
