I know exactly what you mean about the version that pops up here being somewhat different from the original, Brian. I'm guessing that it is possible to manipulate the photograph to adjust the colours before posting, and then the reproduction here might show up as it really is, but I just go on the assumption that everyone's paintings look a little different here from the way they do in reality - we get enough of an idea from the website to like/ not like...And I do like your recent postings very much - the woodland scene here is fresh, lush and lovely with the dappled light and shadows.

And the general idea is pretty good Brian, I have used the computer to adjust some of my paintings photographs closer to the actual painting, digital can somehow bleach out the colour even though I never use flash , anyway nice one Brian.

I like this also - the lush greenery, and the SHADE of green(s)... very very nice

I agree with everyone else, you are so good at this type of scene Brian, the deep woodland settings with great foliage details and colours
