Prefer No. 1 Your background here is a little strong and overpowers the flowers. Great to see you trying different effects though. It's the only way to see what works and what doesn't . Too many artists are too scared to brave it. Well done to you for doing just that. jx

I agree with you, but the reduced digital photograph does not show the brightness of the original. I do like to experiment with watercolour, especially for backgrounds. Brian Pugh
