Farmhouse in the Sperrins

I like it a lot. Hope you are not to severe on yourself!!

I think you should be pleased, it's lovely.

It’s a smashing watercolour Brian, love the way you’ve applied the paint and used the tones to give it depth.

It’s really good and beautifully painted , don’t look at it tomorrow, leave it a week or so then you won’t pick the holes as much. They always seem to look better a few weeks later fir some reason.

Lovely, Brian. I agree with Paul's advice too!

Thanks to everyone who commented on my last submission. This is my rendering of my neighbour's house near Draperstown in Northern Ireland. It affords super views of the Sperrin mountains which are just visible in the background. Quite pleased with this one... by tomorrow though I shall have picked numerous holes in it 😂🤔

A few months ago I decided to throw myself into watercolour, a medium I've always wanted to try out. I started off following online courses by Kersey, and then discovered Peter Cronin and Grahame Booth. This is how far I've got, and there's still a long way to go. On on..... Happy Painting…
