A nice painting lovely colours and shadows

Not as far to go as you may think Bonny. I have this problem, I don't want photograph type paintings and am finding an answer of sorts by doing complete abstracty/impression works then ending up with something in between. That's my goal and, I suspect, yours.

I think you have got the balance about right here Bonny, you do need some detail in this type of subject. Must have impressed the pol team to be put on the top gallery.

Good balance, nice contrast between lights and darks, I particularly like the trees you know they are there but don't obscure the building. This is a very good painting Bonny it's got a good painterly feel.
