Bryan, you may not be happy with it because it isn’t as loose as you had envisaged, but, I think it’s a wonderful study of directional brush strokes. Everything in your painting has movement, there are verticals and horizontals ……and I love the way you have described the willows, especially the one on the left.

This is a superb painting Bryan. Your use of greens punctuated by the water lilies and the Monet style bridge creates a solid, well formed painting. You should be proud of it.
