Fantastic! I originally thought it was a photograph.

Thanks Spencer. Much appreciated.

Looks like digital from a photograph! Or a digitally enhanced photograph - Is it? It’s always helpful if you give the medium which can help to avoid any confusion!

Wow so did I - great work.

Hi Alan. It's a digital painting using ArtRage and a Wacom Tablet. I used some texture brushes I bought from a third party as I am not fond of the original brushes. They look too artificial.

Thanks Caroline. Much appreciated.

Okay Rikke, yes I presumed that it was digital Artrage. It’s not mandatory, but helpful if you can state the medium. Oil, watercolour, pastels, digital etc. Many beginners to painting may get the impression that this is an actual traditional painting, which is somewhat obvious by the comments. It’s a very nice image which would lend itself to a delicate watercolour!

Thank you Alan. Noted. I will consider that watercolour and see what I come up with.

I think this one is ripe for coloured pencils. Lovely image!

Thanks Linda. I don't think I have coloured pencil brushes. I might get lucky.

Wonderfull.

Thank Joop. Much appreciated.

My wife May and her parents dog - Rags. The original is 40x27.5 cm. I'm going to print and frame and gift it to my mother in law on Mother's Day.
