Lincon 'by the sea'? by Bernice Field

I very much like your style in this painting Bernice------. The people are childlike but they suit the scene -- { not trying to pull you down with that last comment } just a great style.-- How long have you been painting ----- Keep up the acrylics you will find they are so forgiving

This was my first in acrylic. I had been doing watercolour for about a year previously. I dont spend as much time painting as I would like. Up to then, I had watched video's and looked at books, but now, I attend an art class, which has been a great help. I am still a student though, even at 72 hahaha.

A delightful painting, Bernice, and I just love the idea of adding the sea. What next, I wonder, Cambridge with the Alps ? You could do a series. I have never done water colour but started acrylics last September and like the fact that I can go over mistakes!
