I think it’s great Barry. That warm glow is terrific.

well, if it was supposed to be "better" than this, you worry about nothing.

Lovely light in the sky, reflecting on the water.

Beautiful painting and wonderful light, Barry.

Just great Barry, wonderful light effect.

Many thanks Brian, Skylar, Julia, Cesare and Lewis, I think this is another case of me expressing my disappointment that my efforts haven’t delivered exactly what I wanted. A very good reason for posting work on this site where others can help put your thoughts into perspective. It aids the thought process by helping to see not just the negative elements but also the positives and keeps things in balance

Thank you Carole.

Another pleasing "on the water" painting Barry. Really attractive work, full justice for me...Love it.

Thank you Jim much appreciated

Lovely loose style and quiet atmosphere too, the buildings and boats moored look great! I like this scene and it has turned out really well Barry, a very nice monochromatic palette chosen with radiant sky overhead, nice subtle contrasts , and reflections too, well done!

Nothing wrong with the tones in this, wonderful light and shadow.

Thank you Angela and Val, you have done a good job at putting my mind at rest.

A cracker Barry!

Everyone's said it - the light is brilliant Barry.

Love the sky! A most favorite time of day for me. So this painting brings warm memories of being on the coast, or harbor near dusk. I can hear the gulls! Beautiful wc technique throughout Barry.

Thank you Fiona, Margaret, Marjorie and Nancy for your lovely comments.

Can always pick out your painting - another lovely watercolour, Barry

Thank you Maureen and Carole.

I don’t feel as if I have done this one justice a nearly but not quite effort. All a question of getting the tones right.
