Splendid watercolour Barry and what a sky , i remember JF Watson saying a lot of artists paint very ordinary skies little realising how very important they are in the landscape , he would have loved this painting

Thank you Dermot, that is high praise indeed. My usual rule is simple landscape interestingly sky, complex sky simple landscape, I think this one fell in between and I am pleased with the result.

Just got home from doing an in house demo for my art group. Chose to do a updated and modified version of the painting I posted at the weekend of the Stour at Dedham. Half imperial Bockingford 200 lb extra rough paper.
