Dedham Hall Sitting Room
Painted with Winsor and Newton water mixable oils. When I was at Dedham I took a photo as I was attracted by the light from the window creating interesting shadows and reflections in the room. A though I started the painting sometime ago I have only just revisited my work with the intention of doing a lot of refining but ended up only doing the odd bit of touching up here and there. Decided that that it had a loose fresh quality that appealed and so I resisted the temptation to meddle.
