A brace of Carole’s with words of encouragement how delightful, thank you both very much. I think much of my struggle was how to convey a sense of space and scale and it pleasing that I seem to achieved my aim.

The shadow contrasts and limited palette make the scene imposing Barry. Unusual and attractive.

It’s a general scene that I recognise Barry painted brilliantly. I’m off there in a few weeks, can’t wait.
