Astonishing result for 25 minutes. So much atmosphere in this painting.

Thanks Lewis, mainly done wet in wet and it was a warm day and the paint was drying quickly.

This looks so effortlessly beautiful with that lovely light falling on the river Barry.

Painting at Lechlade yesterday after doing a fairly ordinary painting of the bridge on the river I decided to do a quick impression of the river looking in the opposite direction. A quarter imperial that took twenty five minutes.
