Super Barry. You use colours that I'd never think of using on a bird like this...but it works perfectly.

Beautiful Barry painted spot on lovely work

Thank you Lewis and Dennis, my palette was limited the two main colours for the bird were Prussian Blue and Chinese Orange with the addition of Indian Red and Burnt Umber. Sounds a bit like the United Nations!!!

It has some good points about this bird Barry. And it has the conviction of standing firmly on its feet.

It's a super watercolour Barry. He has that inquisitive crow look!

Based on the title it must be standing to attention John, but I resisted the urge to put it in hob nail boots. I bet Lewis could make a good job of that with his sense of humour and good drawing skills.

Thank you Louise I’m glad that’s coming across.

Love the colours Barry, well painted

Love crows, love this fella Barry.

Beautiful colours on your bird Barry. I think a lot of people tend to think of them as black but I saw one a few days ago with the sun shining on it and it had beautiful colours.

Spot on, great pose, and agree with Lewis about the colours.

Thanks to Linda, Margaret, Fiona, Dorothy and Sandra, it seems that the colours have won the day.

Great wet in wet and the colours are really true to life. I love crows...miss them too on Gozo.
