Great diagonals here Barbara and those lovely foreground grasses add such depth to this wonderful painting. Also like how you’ve softened the background to intimate distance.

Why not write a post for the forum, to fill us in a bit on what you've learned from the course you took? Of course, a simpler way to find out would be to sign up for the course ourselves, but time is money, and money is short..... I might not agree with the advice you got from young Martin Kinnear, but exploring any differences would be interesting in itself. I like your strong painting, particularly those foreground marks and the contrast between the yellow field and the purple/violet beyond - complementary colours add impact, especially when accomplished with some restraint in landscapes.
