Oh!how beautiful and the houses and Orthodox church do look magnificent amidst the trees! Strange I am reading a novel about Estonia and how their Lace makers helped to keep their legacy during a difficult time in 1940, and your painting expresses just how I imagine Tallinn to appear! A lovely painting David!

A beautiful depiction of the buildings and the church David. Visited Tallinn very many years ago and it’s still as lovely as ever. Love the earthy browns, reds and greens.

Just completed this watercolour of a view taken in the city of Tallinn in Estonia. It is some twenty six years ago that I visited the city and found the "old town" to be most picturesque!!
