Lovely boats David 🚢

Wonderful David.

The lovely background sets of the ship beautifully

A lovely painting of a great ship, the days when ships had an elegant look to them are sadly are long gone.

Beautiful painting David, live the boats.

You've done justice to Table mountain on a good day well done

I really like the colours you have used. The harmonise very well and emphasise the backdrop.

Good work David!

Really like this David - the excellent Table Mountain highlights the ship.

Just completed this watercolour of the Union Castle passenger and mail ship, Windsor Castle, setting sail from Cape Town. Unfortunately the service was withdrawn in 1969 ( I stand to be corrected) . I can remember the journey via the West coast of Africa used to take three weeks and included in the cargo used to be the latest British magazines and comics so I always received my editions of magazines three weeks after their release in the UK!!
