Was this photo taken near Springbok? We've done the flowers a few times and they never cease to amaze. Really good representation

Yes it is taken from a photo not far from Springbok. I cheated slightly by adding the wind pump and water tank to add a bit more interest.

I have just completed this watercolour of this region of the North West Cape in South Africa. After the spring rains the area which is semi-arid comes alive with flowers and is really a magnificent sight to see especially the colours against the dramatic mountainous background.
