Excellent sketch David.

Always good David a very well drawn sketch indeed

Yes, these old buildings do hold wonder and charm especially those from the Tudor period! A good detailed drawing David and fine line on the windows and dorma roof structure too, it looks great!

Beautifully drawn, David. We’ve visited Baddesley Clinton quite often and you’ve definitely captured it’s beauty and originality.

Thank you Denise, Chris, Angela and Spencer for your very kind remarks and comments.

Thank you, Heather.

Superb attention to detail David.

A great sketch of a super NT property David.

Thank you David and Fiona for your kind comments

Really lovely sketch, David - and what an interesting building!

I sometimes wonder if these ancient buildings were constructed the way they were in order to provide an almost invincible challenge to artists tempted to draw them (they weren't, of course: many of them are so complex because they were added to and extended as the needs and wealth of their owners grew). This is an accomplished and satisfying drawing, because while its architecture is almost of an Escher-like complexity, it does all make sense and speaks of so much history; it's a pleasantly warm drawing too, thanks to the inks and paper you've used: you could make it quite sinister in black Indian ink on white paper!

Full of charm, nice work David.

Thank you Anne, Robert and Ross for your very kind comments.
