As a fan of bright gorgeous colours I find this very pleasing. If this is to be a series, Sandra, I shall watch with interest. (I keep meaning to try an abstract myself, but need to get my brain pointing in the right direction.)

Movement I see in this piece Sandra.

Lovely shapes and colours Sandra. Worked well .

Abstracts are never easy to put over to the viewer as you know Sandra. Keep going with them, interesting shapes and colours which gel nicely.

Lewis, John, Sylvia, Alan, thank-you very much for your encouragement. I must say that I am enjoying the move back to abstract.

A pleasing combination of shapes and colours that invite the viewer's eye to journey about the composition - well done, Sandra!

Really nice colourful abstract...like it.

I do like how the areas of blue seem to weave in and out of the coloured areas, as if they are falling water or streams/rivers. Fits together beautifully Sandra.

Thank-you Wib, Margaret, Andre and Fiona for your lovely comments. Fiona, I did have water in mind with the blue areas.

This is the one i like as best of the three for colours and composition . stick to this style Sandra

Thank-you Syd. I'll try, but they do tend to evolve and sometimes develop a mind of their own.

Lovely to look at gorgeous colours

Thank-you very much Dermot.

Acrylic on canvas 12x12 inches. No. 3 in an abstract series I'm working on. This one is just shapes and colours.

About the Artist
Sandra Kennedy

I became hooked on painting when I joined an evening class on painting "Abstracts in Acrylic" some years ago. Now retired, I was painting fairly regularly until the last couple of years when I've had a "creative drought". This year I intend to work on mainly abstract landscapes.
