Beautiful glow on this one Sandra lovely painting

Sandra, this has a wonderful atmosphere about it, It may be your colours, anyway, a smashing effort of presumably a local landscape, perhaps 'A View from a Window' ?.

Thank-you very much Dennis, Alan and Louise for your kind comments. It isn't actually a local landscape Alan, it just developed from imagination. I was trying out a different style using a painting knife for the foreground. I'm afraid that the view from my windows is quite ordinary - the neighbours' houses!

The glow that Dennis mentioned really caught my eye with this one Sandra.

Like this very much Sandra. There are lots of different textures, from the long sweeping brush work on the hills to the lovely thicker additions of paint in the foreground.

Such lovely warmth in this painting Sandra. A super foreground which makes the painting work well. Also the distant mountain with its light tone gives depth. Super development going on in New Zealand.
