Thank-you Adele and John for your kind and encouraging comments. Yes, finally after an embarrassing amount of help I managed to put this one on. I do love colour, my tutor at Art Metro comments favourably about my colours. I have a couple of other paintings in mind but need to take better photos first.

This painting was done a while ago, when I was painting abstracts. Have changed style since but thought I'd put this up to begin with.

I became hooked on painting when I joined an evening class on painting "Abstracts in Acrylic" some years ago. Now retired, I was painting fairly regularly until the last couple of years when I've had a "creative drought". This year I'm getting back into painting, concentrating on abstract.
