Lovely colours

You seem to be lucky enough to be surrounded by very pretty old doors. The ones down my way are far more boring! This is so delicate and lovely - wonderful small details which build up such a super picture.

You are sooooo good at bringing out the beauty in these old and worn objects Avril. Fabulous colours too.

Your treatment of rust merits a conference Avril! But to take just one detail: the exquisite arc of wear where the hasp has dangled pendulum-like for decades.
