You have given it all the paint it needed. Looks great. Nobody would look at it if it was brand new.

Avril you have a talented sharp eye for taking the ordinary and turning it into the extraordinary. Your portfolio is full of examples of this as you turn rusty everyday objects - the sort of things that lots of people would not even notice - into the most delicate and beautiful paintings. This is yet another lovely addition to your gallery.

Glad you like it and thanks for taking a moment to tell me .France is full of old villages where many buildings are ageing and often crumbling! so subjets for my paintings are abundant. They do need some embellishment though....not always a beautiful blue! Best wishes to all for Christmas and good health and inspiration for 2013.
