You can see a real dog in this painting, look at the curiosity in its face, whilst waiting for its owners to give it instructions. All of this can be seen in just a moment. Which makes it a perfect painting.

Beautiful painting, the loose brushwork around the outer edge of the painting draws your focus to the dogs face perfectly
