They don't live forever, sadly. I met one a few weeks ago - people were nervous of him, but I spoke to him and ended up getting a free face-wash - I've never seen a tongue that long and all-enveloping before. This is a lovely study, revealing not only his good nature but his very impressive bulk. A strong painting, using delicate colours - quite a thing to pull that off successfully.
