Nicely judged - it's what Edward Wesson called "acres and acres of bugger all", and he didn't mean that as criticism - it's all about shape, colour, atmosphere; it doesn't need detail or distraction: that sky wash is perfect.

The light and dryness that gives the Tuscan landscape a shimmer, is captured nicely.

I'm currently teaching watercolours in Tuscany. This morning I was inspired to paint the beautiful Tuscan Hills from a photo I'd taken yesterday.
