Worked it out Paul and yes fully familiar with Joseph as I am Alvaro. In 2023 I spent a week painting in Scotland with another world watercolour master, Andy Evansen, who knows Joseph. Yes very distinctive style

I struggled prepping for a demo today but that's the price you pay for not having a plan that takes me from beginning to end and I nearly abandoned but I've learned that it's important to finish and paint past that point of self doubt. I was also experimenting on the paper which was risky. Winsor and Newton.
