Margaret your paintings are always full of atmosphere...this is super, quite like the idea of using silver leaf, adds yet another dimension.

I also used iridescent medium to get the effect of the moonlight shining on the grass - but of course you can't tell any of these things from a print of the painting unfortunately, only from the original.

"The Grey Ladies" are 4 standing stones on Harthill Moor Derbyshire. They are all that remain of a what was originally a circle of 9 standing stones 45 feet in diameter. I have done the stones themselves with texture paste which makes them 3 dimensional and touched them with silver leaf where the moonlight catches them.
