Bluebells in Ecclesall Woods.

Bluebells in Ecclesall Woods.

Stunning painting, the bluebells, water, trees, moss covered rocky bank all very real, also like very much the portrait format.

Interesting method and you have made it work for me, don't see bluebell woods in OZ, mores the pity.

Hang on Studio Wall

Oil Pastel and Watercolour. Oil pastel was used for the bluebells, some of the foliage, texturing on the tree trunks and moss on the rocks. Then watercolour was painted over and the oil pastel acted like a wax resist.
