Willow tree at Ashford.

A willow tree by the River Wye at Ashford in the Water, Derbyshire. Most painters who visit this village paint the ancient "Sheepwash Bridge" but this time I decided to stand on the bridge and paint down river. It wasn't very easy to do as there was no room to put an easel up and nowhere to balance my paints and water. I dropped a new tube of Cobalt Blue over the bridge into the river!
