I think you have captured the joyous procession of little boats really well. Your painting is full of life and lovely little areas of colour. One for the memory album I think?

A lot of work has gone into this. Captured the "controlled" chaos perfectly. Excellent London sky-line. And as I remember the day, that sky is pretty spot on too!

You're right about the work gone into it, Tony. It took me a lot longer than I expected. I didn't intend it to be so detailed. I had intended it to be looser and more impressionistic - but this is how it turned out in the end! It took days to do all those little boats though.

I really like this painting Margaret. So much to look at and tremendous atmosphere!

This is very lively. All those boats and oars, tremendous work has gone into this :)

This is the man-powered section of the Jubilee procession. Painted in pen and ink and watercolour. Unfortunately it has printed a bit dark on here. The original isn't as dark as this and the sky doesn't look quite as threatening and stormy.
