This is beautiful. This painting depicts tranquility and distance very well. Flowers in the foreground are lovely.

I love the way you have painted the daffodils and the slight warmth to lighten the cool background. I have a feeling that the trees cauld have been thinned out a little as the centre branch for me spoils the tranquility of the scene,only one mans opinion.

I think you might be right. I've half closed my eyes and tried to imagine it without that centre branch and I believe it would look better. However it's been sold now, but if I do something similar again I'll bear your advice in mind!
