Thanks very much. This is a scene from my garden and it was my second attempt after taking up painting 18 months ago. Summer Celebration One (the first) is also based on a melange of plants in the house and garden and is obviously stylised.

Well you have quite a talent for your art for such a short time in painting. Great style.

Thanks for your encouragement Carole. I'm not sure yet exactly what style I am striving for. I have probably done more figurative pieces than those of the kind I have put on the website so far, but I will put some more pieces on the site shortly. I think that I probably aspire more to your kind of style really, which is more creative in my view, but I feel that I need to learn more about the basics as a foundation. Best wishes for your work.
