My favourite bird, do you they are known as devil birds because of their shriek. They nest at my house, but they have not arrived yet. Maybe soon now I’ve seen this. Some lovely textures I thought it was all painted til I looked closer with me specs on

Fabulous work Barbara. We get swallows nesting in the barn and house martins in the eaves of the house every year around the end of April so they must be on their way back from Africa.

Stunning work Barbara. Love the dynamic way you've done the birds, and the background works so well.

Hello Justin, thank you very much for your lovely comment. I didn't realise the swifts were called devil birds. I shall now look at them in a new light. What a privilege to have them nest at your house. Hope you enjoy watching them when they arrive!

Hello Margaret and thank you. That's fantastic you have swallows and house martins. I also love thinking about the birds and their long journey from Africa. When the first ones arrive I feel like letting out a cheer!

Hello Sylvia and thank you!

Just so very fabulous!

Thank you very much, Thalia for your lovely comment!
