Thank you everyone, much appreciated. Various theories about Jenny Brown Pat, most likely I think being that she was the wife or daughter at the farm on the Point in the 17th century, though why she should be commemorated no-one knows!

A second offering from the sketchbook, again during a short holiday up in the NW. This part of the Morecambe Bay coast never fails to make me want to paint - go round every corner of the coastal footpath and there's another scene to capture. This is my usual grey pen and watercolour, about 3"x4", on HP paper.
